A nice size aerobatic Scale Model. Small enough to fit most cars, but large enough to have a presence. Can be flown with 70 or 90 four strokes or 60 two stroke. Our own is fitted with a 20 cc Petrol Engine - the Evolution 20 from Horizon.
The Extra has strong aluminium fixed landing gear. The U/C is mounted in such away that in the event of a heavy landing it will pull cleanly out and is easy to glue back in place. The UC remains strong enough to cope with normal landings. Undercarriages on ARTF or RC Models in general are an area that often gives trouble in service. Far better to have it constructed in this way than have the UC rip out with half the fuselage. Do not be tempted to beef it up! Hand crafted quality workmanship through out the model and the hand applied Toughlon makes for a neat glow and petrol proof finish. The Pre-painted fibre glass cowling and wheel pants match the colour scheme. For those with room issues at home the Detachable 2-piece main wing really cuts the space needed to transport or store this model. Available in Blue or Purple colour scheme - please see the appropriate listing for the colour you require.
The Video below is of SWM Team Member Dave Carr flying the Extra 60 with Evolution 20 and with a Go Pro Camera on board. See what it's like to be in the cockpit of this model as Dave aerobats above the Warrington Model Flying Club Flying Site
