West-Wings Profile Focke Wulf 190

These kits could not be easier to build. They just slot together with the application of a small amount of balsa glue. The parts are pre- printed and pre-decorated and no covering or finishing is required to finish. Everyone in the family can appreciate these kits especially for those rainy days during the school holidays when the children need an educational outlet to keep them from becoming bored.

The video above features a West Wings Tiger Profile model converted to Radio Control by Alpha Bob. The flying was indoors at the St Helens indoor meet

Alpha Bob has used the RC Block from his Vapor and a motor from a Defunct 4 Site to make use of these parts in a model that makes for an interesting indoor or back year flyer. There's no doubt that more of the West Wings range of kits are suitable for Rc conversion. The Park Zone radios and E Flite radio units can be obtained seperately under the brand name of Spektrum and also the Kyosho Minium RC gear can be used in a similar way.

West-Wings Supermarine Spitfire

The last in the line of the most famous fighter of them all. Many say these latter marks are not true Spitfires, but a quick glance by most tells you that she's all Spitfire and worthy of the name. The West Wings Spitfire is a great model that has undoubted 'Spitfire' presence and combines that with superb flying performance. So many lightweight models of Spitfires fail to emulate the true outlines that we know and love. The West Wings 'Spit' has it all, even down to radiators, cam cover bulges, carburettor scoop and accurate spinner outline.

This is a rubber power kit, but with micro R/C now available - do you fancy an R/C conversion ?

Span (Inches): 24.6 Span (mm): 625
