Kamov KA-50 Black Shark A is a one-seater helicopter and it does not have a tail rotor. The Kamov KA-50 is fitted with a coaxial contra rotating rotor system. On the sides of the helicopter there are two stub wings, which can carry fuel and can be used for carrying ammunition. The stabiliser fins are high-mounted on the tail boom with end plates, and located forward of the tail fin.

Its contra-rotating main blades dispense with the need for a tail rotor system, as there’s no torque to compensate for ! Rudder control is provided by ‘differential’ rotor speed control and stabilised by a Piezo gyro.

Thanks to amazing advances in Li Po battery technology this all new model is FREE FLYING version of the popular X.R.B ‘umbilical’ cord version. Supplied with 'transmitter', Li Poly Battery and Automatic Mains Fast Charger.

This has to be the easiest to fly REAL model helicopter type every made. The model is excellent as a training aid as un limited practice can be had indoors - no matter the weather. When trimmed out the model will hover 'hands off'
