Hitec SP1002 Auto Cut Off / Power Unit
This little 2 channel unit is a great way of powering up the servos from the Motor Battery in electric aeroplanes.
How does it work?
It basically feeds the receiver power off the motor battery and in the event of the motor battery going flat, it cuts the power to the motor, but still powers the servo or servos, so that you can glide down safely.
Compact and lightweight, relay controlled and featuring a propeller brake. It will suit 1 x 540 or 480 size motor or 2 x 300 or smaller.
Input 7.2 to 9.6 volts - thats 6 or 8 cells. Auto Cut Off is at 3.3 Volts, which gives about 4 volts when the motor cuts. A safe BEC with Auto Cut Off. No more than 10 A Continuous current ( so check those 540's before use!).
Only 24.5g / 0.86 oz
Size :- 25mm x 15mm x 20mm / 1 inch, 06 inch x 0.8 inch. Supplied with Radio On/Off Switch and also seperate Motor Switch ( no 3 channel needed!).
