VAT increased Nationally on the 1st January 2010 - from the rate of 15% to the new VAT 17.5% rate.
At Steve Webb Models and ServoShop we intend to try and keep the majority of our prices unchanged in January! That means we'll be paying the 2.5% extra Vat rise for you, on most of our products!
That means our ParkZone and E Flight mSR Combo deals are about the best there is!
We also have the Blade mSR RTF and Blade mSR BNF at very low prices.
New to ServoShop are the JoysWay Magic V Boats. These little boats are BIG on performance. Please don't confuse these with toy boats. These Mini Racers feature water cooled motors, hobby ESC and micro servo on the steering. 'Hobby Technology' at a Toy price! Complete with pistol grip transmitter and batteries and charger. We also have the Thunder Tiger ARTF Scale RC Boats back in stock, now rebranded under the RC Systems Label. Just as good, but in even better boxes! The packing is excellent for Mail Order - the boats are crated withing the box to prevent damage in transit! Maybe it's time to give those engines a service during the winter months. we can help with our bespoke Engine Test stand or our Wooden Test stand,this one is favoured by collectors as its harder to mark an engine with a wooden stand. Please note the mount is shown fixed to a Home Base Workd Bench ( our example only cost £14.50!)
There is no doubt on anyones mind that the Micro Helcopter that has moved the step up another level is the Blade MCX, it's available with Transmitter or as the Blade MCX without and can be operated by normal Spektrum 2.4 Ghz radios! The Vapor indoor model flys on the same system and we have an OFFER/PACKAGE for both models. In the package you get the Blade MCX with Transmitter and the Vapor without Transmitter ( as it works on the MCX transmitter). It saves a few pounds and its one less transmitter hanging around the place!

Servoshop continues to expand with more and more servos ( what else?) as well as kits, engines, helicopters -we now stock Wren Turbines. Our technical staff Adrian and Robin both visited Wren to learn how to BUILD and operate trubines - the pictures above show the engine they built. Which I have to say runs amazingly well and is now waiting to go into a Jet belonging to Steve!
